Install the Extension

Click the Chrome button above to install from the Chrome Web Store. Firefox and Edge builds will follow soon.

Create Your Account

Sign up for a free FactSentinel account. Choose Platform mode for instant access with 10 free fact-checks per month, or use your own OpenAI/Anthropic API keys for unlimited private fact-checking.

Check Claims From the Page

Select any text, right-click, and choose "Fact-Check with FactSentinel". Auto-Protection is optional and configurable when you want passive page scans.

First check

Turn the install into a useful first result.

After installing, use one concrete claim so the first session ends with a verdict, confidence score, reasoning, model agreement, and source trail.

  1. 1 Pin FactSentinel from Chrome's extensions menu so it is easy to find again.
  2. 2 Highlight one factual claim with a date, number, quote, named source, policy, product, or health assertion.
  3. 3 Right-click and run Fact-Check with FactSentinel, then review the source links before sharing or citing it.
